Greetings virgin bouncers!
The origins behind the daily bounce..... I started to send a select few friends a song a day (missing a few days out due to being a human with a lazy gene). This evolved in a darwinistic style and became the daily bounce. These friends now chip in from time to time and raise songs to trump my previous bounce...I had to take it one step further and reclaim the bounce as my own...So I sailed the seedy seas of the internet and developed this blog.
This is where I can showcase old and new songs that I love, and typically 'bounce' to....enjoy...

This bounce was a great shout from a friend. Perfect for today's weather and to dampen those midweek blues.

Lianne La Havas
Here is my new love affair. Such a rich sound to her voice with a hint every now and again of Billie Holiday, this girl is one to watch.

Bushstock
So this weekend I ventured down to Bushstock run by the lovely guys and gals at Communion. With the weather on their side and a good turn out of people, west London was buzzing with tweed clad fellows hungry for folk.
Being biased to this genre of music it would be easy for me to review each and everyone that played, however I’ve decided to pick out 2 class acts that made me sit up and listen more than the rest.
The first comes in the form of Michael Kiwanuka. He was based in the St Stevens church at the festival, and I shit you not his voice filled every single nook and cranny or that building.
Here is his track ‘Tell Me a Tale’
TELL ME A TALE
The second comes in the form of Marques Toliver. This dude had some serious stage presence, even covering TLC’s ‘I don’t Want No Scrub’ and pulling it off.
This clip speaks for itself, the guy’s got vibes and a great set of lungs on him, I gove you ‘White Sails’
WHITE SAILS
I have to say, the event was very well run and a joy to be at, bring on next year!
