DAILY BOUNCE

Greetings virgin bouncers!

The origins behind the daily bounce..... I started to send a select few friends a song a day (missing a few days out due to being a human with a lazy gene). This evolved in a darwinistic style and became the daily bounce. These friends now chip in from time to time and raise songs to trump my previous bounce...I had to take it one step further and reclaim the bounce as my own...So I sailed the seedy seas of the internet and developed this blog.

This is where I can showcase old and new songs that I love, and typically 'bounce' to....enjoy...

Sunless '97 Heaven Below

Stumbled across Sunless '97 today. Loving the purposely shabby production on their tracks. So many wrongs in this, make it perfectly right. Massively soundscapey, dreamy and unique. Whispery vocals that sit on every 'S' like a student protest and bumbling background haze that gives the song meat.

Haaaaa, everything I've just written there will make no sense to anyone reading it. So in which case, I suggest you just listen to the track and ignore my bollocks.

John Talabot feat Pional - So will be now

Most mondays I induldge in a little bit of house, just to kicks start my week, shake off my raving blues and keep me from going mental.

Today my house feast has been with John Talabot...perfectly dark and bouncey and not too in my face. This track for me outlines that, simply.

Little Boots - Shake (Azari & III remix)

Listening to some new Little Boots stuff in the office today and it reminded me that I should probably share this Azari remix with you.

Totally taken the original track down a diferent path. This is dark and dirty and we wouldnt expect anything less from the Canadian lords of beats.

Francys — Crossing The White Line (Original Mix)

Massively feeling this track. I'm a big fan of dark, distorted vocal samples and this bad boy is riddled with it.

Perfect little motivator for the first Monday back at work.

My new years resolution..is to bounce more music than last year..I got a bit lazy and I'm sorry. I'm still very much feasting on melodies, I've just been hawding all the goods to myself. I will learn to share...

Until the next time I crawl out the woodwork
